I understand and agree that Michigan Homeowner Assistance Nonprofit Housing Corporation (MHA) is not a law firm, mortgage broker, or an attorney and may not perform services performed by an attorney or broker. Rather, I am representing myself in this legal matter. No attorney-client relationship or privilege is created with MHA. If, prior to my access of any MHA products and or services, I believe that MHA gave me any legal advice, opinion or recommendation about my legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, selection of forms or strategies, I will not proceed with the use, and any relationship with MHA will be null and void. MHA exists solely within the State of Michigan. I agree that regardless of where I reside or where my browser is physically located, my viewing and use of MHA occurs solely within the State of Michigan, and that all content and services shall be deemed to be served from, and performed wholly within, Michigan, as if I had physically traveled there to obtain such service. I agree that Michigan law shall govern any disputes arising from my use of this website, and that the courts of the State of Michigan, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes. I understand that MHA’s review of my answers is limited to completeness, spelling and grammar, and for internal consistency of names, addresses and the like. I will read the final document(s) before signing it and agree to be solely responsible for the final document(s). I will hold MHA and its agents harmless. If there is liability found on the part of MHA, under no circumstances will there be consequential or punitive damages. I have read and understand the following: No county clerk or governmental authority has evaluated or approved MHA’s knowledge or experience, or the quality of MHA’s products or services. MHA is not permitted to engage in the practice of law, including providing any kind of advice, explanation, opinion or recommendation to a consumer about possible legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, selection of forms or strategies. My access grants me a limited license to MHA’s software to create my Loan Modification Request Package. Abandoned orders will result in cancellation and not be considered as non-performance on behalf of MHA as commitment to service this order. In exchange for full acceptance of the terms of service for the product designated as software to create my Loan Modification Request Package, MHA grants the customer a limited right to access the software provided. This product is limited to the use of the homeowner only, and sharing will cause for an immediate termination. This access right will be in place for up to 180 days following the day the customer accesses any MHA products and or services. If the access period lapses without completion of the product applications, MHA has no further obligation to the customer, including but not limited to providing access to the product. This section is subject to all other provisions of the terms and conditions, including but not limited to the “WARRANTY” section of the MHA Terms of Use.

If I do not agree to all of these terms, I will immediately cease my use of this Site.
